My wife introduced me to Andrew Wyeth's eminent painting Christina's World during our trip to the Museum of Modern Art in NYC sometime ago. I remember becoming an instant admirer of the painting, enthralled by the vast opportunity for personal interpretation of Christina's pose in the field; I had assumed an innocent playfulness between Christina and the other residents of the home, and was intriguingly taken aback by the reality of Christina suffering from a "muscular deterioration that paralyzed her lower body."Thank you for the art memories, Mr. Wyeth.
